Hi, I have found your blog very useful as I am just starting my Triton project and I love some of the things you have done. What do you have planned for the tank and seat? Thank you.
Hi Tom,
At the moment things are creeping very slowly with money at a minimum, but I think I am going to hold out until I can afford Aluminium tanks. I would like to get an original Manx oil tank with the cutout for the carb (pre '62)because I like the way they follow the frame rails. The seat I already have and it is a Manx copy from Unity with a nice suede top to it. Why suede I don't know, but every time I see it I want to be finished so I can give it a go!
Trying to figure out the wheels at the moment so that i can get everything aligned and turn it into a roller. Then I can fit mudguards and some peripherals that i already have!
Look forward to seeing some pictures of your project. This is a really good way of documenting and if it helps others that is great!
Cheers,
Alastair
